To create a language Classification Locator

1 For an existing project, select any class in the project class hierarchy.

2 Select Show Extraction Design from the Mode toolbar.

3 Create a new locator named Language Locator and select Classification

Locator from the drop-down list of locator methods.

4 Double-click the new locator to open the Properties dialog box.

5 Use the file selection dialog box to select an external classification project

(extension .fpr). A sample language classification project named

Language.fpr is provided with the installation in the Samples directory.

6 Close the properties dialog box to save your settings.

7 Create a field for the selected class (for example, Language) to hold the

results, and assign the language Classification Locator to the field.

8 Select a sample document.

9 Click Extract Current Document or Process Current Document in the toolbar

of the Document Viewer.

10 Display the Extraction Results using the Mode toolbar.
