Activating VRS Desktop Productivity Features

The VRS Desktop Productivity features are accessible if they are activated from the

VRS Desktop Productivity Add-in Manager. The Add-in Manager lists the status of

the VRS Desktop Productivity add-ins as either activated or deactivated. By default,

the status is automatically set to “activated” after installation.

Note Only administrators can activate or deactivate add-ins from the VRS Desktop

Productivity Add-in Manager.

While the add-ins are activated, VRS Desktop Productivity features are available from

the applicable applications listed in the Add-in Manager window. For example, if the

add-ins are activated, the VRS Desktop Productivity features are available within the

listed email applications that are installed on your computer, as well as Windows

Desktop and Windows Explorer. If the add-ins are deactivated, the VRS Desktop

Productivity features are no longer available.

X To activate or deactivate VRS Desktop Productivity features

1 From the Windows Start menu, navigate to the Kofax VRS program folder.

2 Select the VRS Desktop Productivity Add-in Manager.

The VRS Desktop Productivity Add-in Manager is displayed.

3 From the Add-in Manager, do one of the following, as applicable:

 Click Activate to activate the add-ins.

 Click Deactivate to deactivate the add-ins.
